Job Description
As a Dealer (Type 1 RO, MIC), your main responsibilities will include:
- Executing trades and managing trading activities across a variety of financial instruments.
- Ensuring compliance with Type 1 regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitoring market trends and providing insights to support trading decisions.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and counterparties.
- Preparing reports and analysis related to trading performance and market updates.
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance trading strategies and processes.
- Overseeing risk management measures to minimize financial exposure.
- Acting as the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) for trading activities, ensuring adherence to local regulations in Hong Kong.
A successful Dealer (Type 1 RO, MIC) should have:
- A strong background in banking and financial services, particularly in trading and compliance.
- Professional qualifications relevant to Type 1 regulated activities in Hong Kong.
- Proven expertise in managing trading operations and risk assessment.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and markets in Hong Kong.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
