Substance Use Counselor – CASAC/CASAC-T
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person
The Second Wind Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CASAC or CASAC-T Counselor to join our growing behavioral health team. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced counselors and new graduates who are passionate about supporting individuals with substance use and behavioral health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
As a Substance Use Counselor (CASAC/CASAC-T), you will:
- Conduct clinical assessments and client evaluations
- Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide individual and group counseling services within scope of credentialing
- Deliver case management and care coordination services
- Support clients in accessing community resources and recovery services
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical and care team
Qualifications
- Active CASAC or CASAC-T certification (New York State required)
- Clinical experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings (preferred)
- Strong case management, coordination, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/ECR) (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
