POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in helping to surface and close new business opportunities within the Software Testing product space.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Evaluate new business opportunities by analyzing and qualifying potential client profiles.
-Drive revenue growth in current accounts through the introduction of additional solutions, services, and technologies.
-Grow the client portfolio by actively pursuing prospects, nurturing leads, participating in industry events, and engaging in targeted outreach campaigns.
-Recommend tailored solutions to meet the needs of existing and future clients through thorough assessment and strategic planning.
-Design and execute strategic initiatives to support product expansion and meet sales objectives.
-Cultivate and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts by understanding their evolving needs and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
-Maintain consistent communication with clients to reinforce engagement and build lasting partnerships.
-Oversee software contract renewal cycles, ensuring timely client interactions to maximize retention and secure recurring revenue.
-Spearhead trial and evaluation projects to validate solution benefits and ensure alignment with customer goals.
-Host product demonstrations and facilitate client workshops to drive adoption and effective use of product solutions.
Support competitive positioning by tracking industry trends and relaying actionable client insights for strategic planning.
Requirements
-Demonstrated business development acumen, preferably in the Automotive space, but will consider other industries.
-At least 4 years of hands-on embedded software development experience using C/C++ is required.
-ISO standards experience (ISO 26262) preferred
-Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
-Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical course of study preferred.
