Our client seeks a Regulatory Reporting Senior Associate to join its Compliance team in New York, NY. This role offers the chance to lead and manage regulatory reporting across diverse investment strategies while working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will gain exposure to a broad range of compliance activities, collaborate with business leaders, and play a key role in supporting the firm's commitment to excellence and ethical standards.Key Responsibilities:
In the capacity of Regulatory Reporting Senior Associate, you will become deeply involved in the daily operations of a high-achieving Compliance team committed to upholding exacting standards across all facets of regulatory reporting. Your remit will encompass assembling detailed data sets for complex filings, interpreting emerging regulations as they arise, devising effective policies that reinforce internal controls, and collaborating extensively with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Success in this role necessitates not only technical proficiency but also an aptitude for cultivating positive relationships across departments. You will play an essential part in supporting audit processes while ensuring that every aspect of compliance is managed with meticulous care. By proactively identifying process improvements and participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives, you will help sustain the organization's reputation for operational distinction whilst advancing your own expertise within a supportive environment.
• Oversee the compilation, monitoring, and validation of data required for an extensive array of regulatory filings and firm-wide reporting obligations such as Form ADV, Form PF, AIFMD Annex IV, 13F, 13H, TIC, BEA, N-PX, Form 40, the Custody Rule, and MiFID II.
• Remain abreast of evolving regulations pertinent to investment activities by interpreting new rules and evaluating their implications for current operations to ensure continuous compliance.
• Formulate, enhance, and implement comprehensive policies and procedures designed to strengthen the efficacy of the firm's compliance controls throughout all business units.
• Engage collaboratively with legal counsel, business partners, compliance colleagues, and external consultants to facilitate key business initiatives and fulfil regulatory requirements efficiently.
• Refine existing processes by identifying avenues for greater efficiency and improved workflow management within the compliance function.
• Coordinate with internal teams as well as third-party service providers to ensure seamless execution of compliance operations across the organization.
• Provide thorough support during internal audits and regulatory examinations by preparing documentation and responding thoughtfully to requests from auditors or regulators.
• Contribute to departmental training efforts by disseminating knowledge regarding regulatory changes or best practices among colleagues across various departments.
• Participate in special projects related to enhancements in compliance or new product launches as directed by senior leadership.
