Montana Family Planning (MFP), a federal Title X program administered by the private nonprofit organization, Bridgercare, champions access to culturally sensitive, quality, sexual and reproductive health education, and services for every individual. The mission is achieved in two primary ways:
through advocacy to break down systemic policy barriers that decrease health equity and impede access to services; and by improving quality services through programming. MFP is proud to support systems of care throughout Montana in delivering patient-centered reproductive healthcare to all those who seek services. Our programming is focused on removing cost barriers, specifically for the uninsured, and supporting family planning health centers through quality
training, analysis, and collaboration.
Wage Range: $24.20-$32.30/hr DOE
Schedule: 32-40 hours/week

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- The Program Coordinator (PC) position works directly with subrecipients to communicate MFP policies and procedures, monitor and assure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, improve Title X program quality, and provide or arrange for on-going training and technical assistance to ensure subrecipients are providing the highest quality client care. The PC will also be responsible for implementing MFP’s training and technical assistance and quality improvement activities. Finally, the Program Coordinator will work with the MFP team to identify policy questions, opportunities and concerns in advocacy for clinics and tribal communities. The PC reports directly to the MFP Project Director. This is a remote position within the state of
Montana
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Implementation and Monitoring
1. Edit and maintain policies, procedures, resources, and tools used to guide compliance with Title X
requirements by Montana Family Planning and its subrecipients.
2. Prepare communications such as newsletters, meeting minutes, resource materials, and website content.
Ensure files are organized and materials are translated into non-English languages and accessible per the
American Disabilities Act and Section 508 as necessary.
3. Coordinate convenings and communication with subrecipients and develop resourcesto support program
implementation and compliance.
4. Plan and conduct supportive monitoring practicesforsubrecipients to ensure compliance, quality,
efficiency, and continuous quality improvement.
5. Support the needs ofsubrecipients by assisting and working collaboratively with other Montana Family
Planning staff such as the Project Director, Data Manager, Clinical Manager, as well as Bridgercare’s
Executive Director, Finance Director, Medical Director, and Revenue Cycle Manager.
6. Work within complex healthcare delivery systems and collaborate with community partnersto assure
quality patient care and program service delivery for a variety of populations.
Training and Technical Assistance
1. Support needs assessments and related efforts to identify opportunities for training, technical assistance,
and performance improvement.
2. Develop and/or coordinate trainings based on the needs of subrecipients and partners.
3. Provide technical assistance to subrecipients to support them in implementing, maintaining, and improving
their Title X programs.
Grant Management and Evaluation
1. Assist with writing and/or gathering information for funding applications, grant reports, data requests, and
other project-specific needs.
2. Support successful funding opportunities including developing and distributing applications, cultivating high quality proposals, participating in review and selection of subrecipients, and reviewing and monitoring
subrecipient reports.
Strategy
1. Build strong working relationships with key constituents that advance equitable access to sexual and
reproductive health care and education.
2. Maintain current knowledge on existing and emerging issues important to Bridgercare and relevant political
landscape.
3. Assists in evaluating Montana Family Planning initiatives including developing appropriate metrics and
measurement systems, collecting data, compiling reports, and streamlining measurement across
initiatives.
4. Foster an integrated, organizationalsystems approach to sexual and reproductive health care including
planning, promoting data quality, and engaging in data driven change.
5. Support Montana Family Planning efforts towards establishing policies and procedures that systematically
advance health equity and embed reproductive justice throughout the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Be available to assist onboarding of new employees as they come to understand Bridgercare culture and
operations.
2. Be a resource to colleagues for information in your area of expertise.
3. Perform other duties as assigned, requiring strong judgment, initiative, and commitment to Bridgercare's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year to-year basis.
- Minimum of two years of public health experience. Experience in reproductive and sexual health care, research, best practices, and programming preferred.
- Experience with federal grants and associated benchmarking preferred.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Desire to play an important role in advocating for MFP’s mission in our community.
- Ability to travel throughout Montana, with occasional travel out of state, for outreach, training, and administrative functions. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Total work time involving travel estimated to be 15% of the time (average of 3 days per month)
