Seeking Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Our multidisciplinary team of OTs, Physiotherapists and Speech Pathologists fly together to the most remote corners of East Arnhem Land to deliver care with compassion, focussing on each person's unique potential - to help them to discover their best possible life.
Job Opportunity: We have an amazing opportunity for an Occupational Therapist looking for a simpler life living in beautiful Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, passionate about helping people and wanting an adventure travelling throughout communities empowering people unlock their potential. Join our multidisciplinary Allied health team and discover some of the most untouched places in Australia, as you travel by road or small planes to visit homelands and Indigenous communities across Arnhem land.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments with a focus on understanding the cultural, physical, and emotional needs of patients, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Develop and maintain accurate records, including treatment plans and progress notes, with sensitivity to cultural factors.
Provide therapy services, including exercises and activities, to promote health and independence.
Utilize therapeutic techniques to support patients in improving or recovering their abilities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs and physiotherapists, within our multidisciplinary team.
Adapt therapy plans based on patient progress, attending conferences and meetings to discuss treatment.
Engage with clients in remote Indigenous communities to deliver culturally respectful care.
Be flexible and open to handling diverse tasks as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements
- Experience in NDIS private practice environment
- AHPRA registration
- Current Drivers License
- First Aid Certificate and CPR
- National Police Check
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferred but not essential)
- Clinical experience working with paediatric caseload
