We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Counsel with 3–7 years of healthcare and/or employment litigation experience. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about proactive legal support and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in pre-litigation and litigation matters, including managing outside counsel.
- Provide strategic legal advice on disputes, regulatory inquiries, and risk exposure.
- Support community leadership teams with legal guidance and resources.
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
- Respond to medical records requests, subpoenas, and government inquiries.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Assist with contract disputes, employment matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay current on relevant federal and state laws.
- J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed in Idaho or eligible for in-house counsel registration.
- 3–7 years of litigation experience, including insurance defense, preferably in healthcare and/or employment law.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience with arbitration, mediation, and managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
