Description
Summary. The Lead Graphic Designer is responsible for creating the highest quality designs for VOM media that promote the fellowship of the global body of Christ, while inspiring Christians to a deeper commitment to Christ and his Great Commission. Also this role assists the Director of Creative in liaising with and art directing design contractors and projects as well as specialized technical tasks at the direction of the Director of Creative.

Core Duties
1. Collaborate with key stakeholders on design projects and create engaging and aesthetically pleasing print and digital materials in alignment with VOM’s visual messaging and brand standards.
2. Manage the color quality of various VOM projects by reviewing and providing creative direction to print and electronic proofs.
3. Art direct, liaise with and supervise contract designers on Creative projects as assigned.
4. Provide final sign-off’s, Creative and quality assurance reviews, and act as a proxy for key meetings and Creative decisions at the request of (and in the absence of) the Director of Creative.
5. Handle Creative technical tasks at the request of the Director of Creative.
Requirements
Skills and Experience
1. [Required] Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
2. [Required] 7+ years of design experience.
3. [Required] Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
4. [Required] Professional portfolio demonstrating proficiency in typography and print and digital media design.
5. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
6. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
7. Proven ability to receive and accept creative feedback with grace and respond accordingly.
8. The proven ability to effectively art direct people and projects.
Working Conditions
- Typical office environment and hours with some flexibility.
- Must live in the area and office at VOM's headquarters in Bartlesville, OK.
