Position Description:

The School of Dentistry is seeking a candidate to work as a front desk Dental Receptionist at the pediatric dentistry clinic located at the Kosair's Charities Building, 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet, direct and interview patients.
• Enter demographic data in the computerized patient information system.
• Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Compile patient charts.
• Serve as cashier; accept payments from patients; enter financial data into computer; issue receipts; balance cash drawer at end of day; set up payment contracts; work with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations; track payments and troubleshoot issues.
• Additional HIPAA / privacy training upon hiring; Infection Control training.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$23.08
Target Compensation Minimum:
$15.38
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
