You’ll manage your own patient load and establish a flexible work life balance that suits you while we take care of the rest.
We offer the support of a collaborative, passionate team of like-minded psychiatrists, access to a multidisciplinary team of nurses, psychologists and allied health professionals and a highly professional and well-organised administrative and billing team.
With established patient referral and admission pathways and an experienced business development team, we’ll work with you to build your profile and your hours to what works best for you.
Your role will be to provide mental health assessments and the management of patients across our adult mental health services including our highly specialised programs.
You’ll have the opportunity to provide ongoing care to patients alongside our multidisciplinary teams across our outpatient consulting suites, inpatient facilities and day programs.
You’ll be fully supported in the role with second opinions and peer reviews as well as access to ongoing professional development through Healthscope’s Professorial Units (select sites).

Located in Bundoora, Northpark Private Hospital is private hospital with a 66-bed dedicated Adult Mental Health Unit. We provide surgical, medical, maternity and mental health services to the growing north and northeast communities of Melbourne.
Northpark Private Hospital specialises in a wide range of inpatient and outpatient mental health services including ECT, TMS, EMDR supported by a comprehensive group therapy day programs including options to attend virtually for DBT, Addiction, SCHEMA & Wellness Programs to name a few.
As well as our general adult mental health inpatient units, we offer specialised Older Persons Mental Health and Early Parenting Units.

Requirements
You must be able to provide evidence of:
- AHPRA registration as a psychiatrist
- Fellowship of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
