Job Summary: Transtech Engineers, Inc. is requesting resumes for Building Inspectors for full-time or part-time positions. This position requires that the Inspector is able to commute. We are looking for candidates all over LA, San Bernadino and Orange Counties. The qualified candidate will be working under the direct supervision of the Building Official or the Supervising Building Inspector. The Building Inspector should be knowledgeable in all areas of Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and other related codes. The qualified candidate will be responsible for inspections of residential, industrial, and commercial areas.

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Building Inspector in a jurisdiction
Current ICC (International Code Council) Certification
Ability to maintain a valid CA Class “C” Driver’s License
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Experience in building construction, architecture, or engineering work involving knowledge of building codes is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Salary will depend on qualifications.
