Who We Are:

Yalesville Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA accredited, multi-doctor, small animal hospital. We are located in historic and affluent New Haven County, Connecticut. Our hospital stresses preventative care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups and treatments, surgery, as well as nutrition counseling. In addition to conventional surgical and medication-based therapies, we embrace integrative medicine, offering acupuncture and herbal treatments to enhance holistic care. We collaborate with specialists in multiple fields through referrals as well as through visiting specialists. We provide a board-certified surgeon for our orthopedic and complicated soft tissue procedures, a board-certified internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, and a cardiologist. Our close proximity to large 24-hour referral and emergency centers allows us to offer our staff the family-friendly benefits of no after-hours emergencies and no on-call schedule.

As an associate veterinarian with YVH, you will appreciate our state-of-the-art equipment, including therapeutic laser, in-house pharmacy, IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiography (including digital dental and developing), ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and advanced surgical monitoring equipment. We also use Antech and Idexx, along with several other labs and colleges for diagnostic lab work, such as cytology and histopath. We have an associate veterinarian who provides acupuncture, which compliments our therapeutic laser treatment nicely.
