Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the New York, NY, office (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):Associate Account Executive
We will count on you to:
Evaluate risks, perform cost/benefit analysis, review loss experience, pricing, cash flow, and financials, developing insurance solutions, articulating impact of options, leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to clients across insurance product lines. Utilize Marsh's Owner and Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP/CCIP) service, help clients take control and purchase the Builder's All Risk (BR) all risks, first party property, third-party property damage and bodily injury liability (WrapUp) insurances in the form of a bespoke, all-party cover for the project, which benefit the client's cost, control, coverage, and claims. Use Marsh's advanced policy tracking, invoicing and certificate systems to service insurance placements from pre-inception to post-completion. Deliver top-quality services to clients in terms of policy wording, terms, and conditions. Partner with more senior Account Managers to retain and generate new business by leveraging strategy information and analysis of current insurance markets, trends and offerings. Manage contract reviews and midterm changes. Strengthen and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and producers to provide best-in-class service and drive growth. Serve as a client contact and respond to difficult client needs and questions in a timely manner to improve the client experience. Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of changing economic market condition.
What you need to have:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have one (1) year of experience with all of the following: Managing General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Builder's Risk, Contractors' Professional and Pollution Liability, Excess and Umbrella Liability, OCIP and/or CCIP, Subcontractor Default Insurance, and Commercial Auto & Equipment Coverage for clients; Interpreting policy language and identifying key coverage details; Providing insurance certificates, ensuring key coverage endorsements are included where appropriate and addressing needs of key entities and stakeholders; Analyzing construction contracts including insurance limits, endorsement requirements, and coverage responsibilities for clients; Managing relationships with clients, servicing day-to-day requests and leading calls on open items; Summarizing and presenting proposed policy terms, conditions and pricing for all lines related to construction; Working with insurance markets and underwriters to negotiate policy terms that are in the clients' best interest; Administrative, operational and service management.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $129,900 per year.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
