The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor of Research Pediatrics- Tenure Track

The candidate is expected to conduct cutting-edge research within an established high-level laboratory setting. Of particular interest are candidates with basic science experience and research interests in stem cell research towards investigation of underlying mechanisms and of inflammatory cells in GI disease, specifically but not limited to implications for the therapeutic potential of translational research in Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD).  

Requirements

Candidates must have a doctoral degree and postdoctoral experience in biochemistry or microbiology, preferred with a successful publication and extra-mural grant funding record.
