The ideal candidate for the Assistant Human Resource Manager position will be caring and empathetic, responsible and professional, kind and has a true passion for supporting the human capital in the resort in order for them to achieve their highest potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of the Human Resource function along with some Finance experience. The position responsibilities include payroll processing, assisting with recruitment and retention, employee/labor relations, workers comp, counseling, safety and training/development, all things HR and offer support to the Finance Team. The Assistant HR Manager will assist the the Director of Human Resources in the onboarding of new hires, planning colleague events, and handle general benefit issues. Additionally the Assistant HR Manager will play a significant role in payroll processing for the hotel. Finance responsibilities will include assisting with month-end closing procedures, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and other administrative duties for the Finance team as needed.

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Experience in onboarding and recruiting is helpful.
• Prior HR experience is preferred.
• Well organized and takes initiative to get things done.
• Highly professional with a desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• The ability to maintain a positive attitude with integrity and maintain confidentiality is a must.
• The ability to show genuine care and concern for others and a williness to help.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Experience with Taleo and Kronos is a plus!
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Decision regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
