Overview

Cedar Rock Country Club opened in 1965. A group of local businessmen envisioned the club and the surrounding neighborhood with a focus on Hibriten Mountain as the centerpiece.

The group commissioned Ellis Maples to design the 7,153-yard championship course with Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens to provide a scenic and challenging test. The course is nestled within the Village of Cedar Rock with beautiful views of Hibriten Mountain and surrounding landscapes. Cedar Rock Golf Course has been host to many state and local tournaments and countless charity events and member functions.

The Clubhouse also opened in 1965 and serves as the heart of all activities. There are multiple dining and meeting rooms to accommodate large or small groups. The Lounge is a lively spot and has always been a great place for members and guests to mingle and socialize. On the lower level is the Golf Shop and Grillroom as well as men's and women's locker rooms.

Experience Required

• Prior experience in golf operations a plus
• PGA/LPGA Member or Associate preferred
• Strong desire to advance career and earn PGA membership
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and self motivated
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Golf Genius, GolfNow experience a plus

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in Managing Daily Operations in the Golf Shop and on the Course
• Works closely with Head Golf Professional on exceeding expectations, providing direction/management of staff, assist and administer golf instruction programs, enforcing course policies, assisting with tournament operations, supporting retail operations, and assist with developing and implementing marketing plans.
• Assist in golf shop merchandising, including, displays, inventory control, promotion, and sale of merchandise
• Assist Management in various Men's & Women's Tournaments and Outings
• Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments
